about

THE THIRD TeRMINAL was borne out of a collaboration between Tyson Wils and Joel Brady in the early 2000s, while both were studying at University in Adelaide, South Australia. The project sought to express a nexus between the esoteric, the political and the cinematic. Exploring the boundaries of what it means to be human while conjuring absence.

Utilising limited technology THE THIRD TeRMINAL created evocative soundscapes, noise and cut-ups that were married with more traditional arrangements on acoustic guitars created by Tyson and Joel, and other instruments provided by occasional collaborators.

The material available via manyhead has been preserved and carefully remastered (and sometimes reimagined) MVNIHVD - making this obscure byway of the Adelaide experimental music scene widely available for the first time. Much of it consists of experiments and sonic sketches that were never necessarily intended for release – but this in itself gives the material a unique, naked quality.

More will be revealed.
