The creative process of Spiraculum Aeternitas mirrors that of alchemy : whereby an external construct effects internal transformation while maintaining a symbiotic relationship with the Prima Materia - in this case being the Artist / Alchemist themselves.

Working not from without but within..

We invoke and we evoke only ourselves,
.. that we may come to Understanding.

An aural artefact is soon drawn out of the unconscious and given birth through the creative process - taking on its own life while experiencing change under the gentle control of the artist-alchemist.

In this way a hieros gamos, or holy marriage may take place.

A sacred union between the creator and the created,

. . and the very act of creation itself.
